HOW DOES SELF STORAGE WORK?
You can store your goods from as little as a few days, or for as long as you need. Storage rooms can be reserved in advance to make sure the size you require is available on the day you need it. You can also easily switch to a smaller or larger storage unit whilst in storage if required. Cheap Storage Manchester is flexible, secure and hassle free, in fact it couldn’t be any easier. All our people are trained to help and advise you to make sure you get the best service and value for money.
What is self storage?
Self Storage is a relatively new service industry in the UK. Our modern, dry centre has a selection of room sizes that you can hire from a locker up to the size of a tennis court or larger, short or long term. WE can collect or you can bring your belongings or possessions to our storage facility, lock them in the unit and visit as you please during opening hours. You are the only key holder. You can store almost anything unless it is alive or perishable!.

HOW OFTEN CAN I HAVE ACCESS TO MY GOODS?
You can come and go as you please, 7 days a week during the store opening hours.
HOW DO I GET MY GOODS TO YOU?
You can either bring your belongings to the storage centre, or we can provide you a FREE storage collection service (up to a 60 mile radius) or you can take advantage of our FREE Self Drive Van hire. Our centre has ample car parking and easy access loading and unloading areas.
Storage Information
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM STORAGE RENTAL PERIOD?
You can store for as long as you want, from a few days to several years – there is no minimum or maximum storage rental period.
WHAT IF I HAVE RESERVED AND MY PLANS ARE DELAYED?
That is no problem just let us know about the changes and we will change the date of your reservation.
DO I NEED STORAGE INSURANCE?
No, insurance is not compulsory but can be provided by us (terms apply). Cheap Storage Manchester provide a tailored insurance policy at a very competitive price. Please call us on 0161 826 4661for more information.
Security & Services
WHAT KIND OF SECURITY IS IN PLACE AT THE CHEAP STORAGE MANCHESTER?
We make the security of your property and belongings a very high priority. For protection, our storage centre has sophisticated alarm systems and 24hr CCTV surveillance. We have 300 CCTV cameras inside & in the grounds & perimeter of our storage centre. Access to our storage centre is strictly controlled. Also, you are the only one with access to your storage room, which is locked and only you have the key.
DO YOU OFFER A PACKING SERVICE?

CAN I TRANSFER TO ANOTHER ROOM IF I NEED MORE OR LESS SPACE?
You can easily move to another size room, larger or smaller, at any time, depending on your storage requirements and the availability of other room sizes in the store.
DO YOU HAVE TROLLEYS OR FORK LIFTS AVAILABLE?
Trolleys and pallet trucks are available free of charge for customers use. We also have forklifts available, which can be operated on your behalf by one of our trained staff, also free of charge.
DO YOU SUPPLY PACKING & REMOVAL MATERIALS?
Unlike all other storage companies we offer an unlimited supply of FREE packing boxes.
We also stock mattress covers, sofa and armchair covers, bubble wrap, tape and all other packing supplies that may be required.
HOW DOES YOUR FREE SELF DRIVE VAN HIRE WORK?
When you book a storage unit with Cheap Storage Manchester, we can offer you FREE use of one of our vans.
Our free van offer can be used for customers storing even if only storing for a few days!
All of our vans are fully insured by Cheap Storage Manchester
No other storage company will offer this facility for short storage periods!
DO YOU OFFER STORAGE FOR BUSINESS?

Do You offer office Space?

Pricing & Payment
DO I PAY WEEKLY OR MONTHLY?
You can pay weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Alternatively you can take advantage of our prepayment discounts – see number 7 above.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO STORE WITH CHEAP STORAGE MANCHESTER?
The price you pay is determined by the size of the room you need. That’s why our commitment to you is that we will get you into the smallest space possible. As the rental charge is calculated according to the floor area of the storage room, the smaller the floor area the less you end up paying. Our storage prices start from as little as £1 per week! We are never beaten on price!
Estimating the storage space you need isn’t as simple and straightforward as it looks. It depends on:
- What you need to store
- How stackable it is
- How high the ceiling of the storage room is
- What sort of access you will need since you may want to leave a walkway through the storage room to get to your possessions.

The price is based on the space you require and estimating the space that you need isn’t as simple and straightforward as it looks. We strongly recommend to give us a call WITH NO OBLIGATION to get the right price for the right space.
DO I NEED TO PAY A DEPOSIT?
Unlike all other storage companies, Cheap Storage Manchester will not charge you a deposit or any expensive extras – you only pay for your storage.
HOW DOES THE LOWEST PRICE GUARANTEE WORK?
Cheap Storage Manchester pride themselves on offering the cheapest self storage prices. In the extremely unlikely event of you managing to get a lower quote Cheap Storage Manchester will beat any comparable quote presented to us by 10%. We will also beat any introductory offers and comparable insurance. This offer applies to individual self storage units of the same size as a competitor within a 60 mile radius. Price comparisons are for the total storage charge based on a 4 week stay and where applicable, include VAT.
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS FOR ARMED FORCES, NHS AND EMERGENCY SERVICES?
Armed Forces, Emergency and NHS employees receive 10% discount for the duration of their stay with us. A valid Forces ID, Emergency Services ID must be shown when you move in. If your ID does not have a photo on it you may be asked to show additional photographic ID. Card must be shown.
ARE THERE ANY DISCOUNTS FOR UPFRONT PAYMENT?
Yes. You can take advantage of a 3% discount for paying 4 months prepayment, 5% discount for paying 6 months prepayment, and 10% discount for paying 12 months prepayment. If you are currently renting a unit at another self storage centre and find that we are cheaper, simply bring along a copy of your current rental agreement and you can have your first months rental free of charge.
DO YOU OFFER ANY DISCOUNTS?
Yes, usually we have a range of discounts that includes:
